As many of our readers know, a CFA® designation represents a lot of blood, sweat, and tears expended on understanding the nuance of finance at both a technical and theoretical level.

Our long-time friend, partner, and quant extraordinaire — Tao Wang — officially earned his CFA® designation.

Tao can now proudly sport a new title, Tao Wang, CFA.

Congrats!

Congratulations! I’m pretty sure though that you are not allowed to have CFA in a different font (bold) than the rest of your name according to the ethics guidelines 😉

  • fixed.

The bad artist version in the pic is via my “mouse drawing” and can be blamed squarely on my inability to write in the same font as the computer

I was mostly reminiscing about having to memorize rules about business card fonts to pass the exam, but glad to see Tao won’t get in trouble 🙂

  • Yes, learning about the crazy rules now. Gotta love lawyers.
