About Douglas Faust

Douglas has applied his academic training in computational physics to work on topics ranging from fundamental quantum mechanics to quantitative finance. He holds a lecturer appointment in Seattle University’s College of Science and Engineering and has previously held research positions at the University of Washington, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and worked for funds and family offices in the Seattle area. In addition to his involvement with Seattle's quant scene, the 2017 surge in interest about crypto assets turned his half-decade-long hobby into a speaking and consulting circuit among traditional finance professionals looking for sane and sound information.
